Now, let's talk strategy – what should you be crafting?

If you’ve got a specific piece in mind for a particular hero, go ahead and craft that bad boy. But if you’re feeling unsure, listen up: the speed set is your best bet. Why?

Because it’s the jack-of-all-trades in the gear game, always coming in clutch when you need it most. Seriously, it’s like the MVP of gear sets – just ask anyone farming Wyvern around the clock! Choosing the speed set ensures you’ll snag a piece that’s versatile enough to work on multiple characters.

And hey, if you’re already crushing it in the game – and I mean really crushing it – you might want to consider the Torrent or Penetration sets. Why?

Because fast DPS heroes are notoriously tricky to gear up, so having these sets in your arsenal can be a game-changer. So whether you’re sticking with speed or branching out to Torrent or Penetration, you’ll be setting yourself up for success on the battlefield!

The next big question: Which gear piece should you go ?

Part 1 of the event – Weapon, Helmet, or Armor?

Here’s the scoop: Don’t repeat the same mistake I made in the first event – I jumped the gun and went for a weapon without really thinking it through. The smarter move? Opt for a helmet. Why, you ask?

Because when it comes to crafting, weapons and armors are the low-hanging fruit. They have fewer substat combinations to worry about compared to helmets, making them a breeze to craft.

Just to break it down further: Helmets can roll any substat except flat HP, while weapons are restricted from having flat ATK, flat DEF, and DEF%. As for chest pieces, they’re a no-go for flat DEF, flat ATK, and ATK%.

Now, let's talk Part 2 of the event: Should you choose a Neck, Ring, or Boots?

This time, it’s a bit more straightforward. I’d recommend going for a ring or a neck. And for the same reasons as before, I’m leaning towards the ring. By opting for a ring, you avoid the risk of ending up with an unwanted main stat.

Plus, you’ll get to choose the main stat of your ring – and I’d suggest going for Attack%, as we discussed earlier. Trust me, it’s the way to go!

Now, let's tackle the question: Which substats should you prioritize?

In the realm of Epic Seven, speed reigns supreme as one of the most coveted stats. So, here’s my take on the matter: Fast DPS classes are notoriously tricky to gear up. They demand a delicate balance of stats to thrive – striking the perfect equilibrium between speed and damage output is key.

For Part 1

For Part 1 of the event, here are the stats you’ll want to focus on:

Speed, Attack%, Critical Damage%, and Critical Chance%.

For Part 2

As for Part 2, the stats shift slightly:

Speed, Health%, Critical Damage, and Critical Chance.

With these substats in mind, you’re all set to choose your gear piece and embark on your epic journey!

So, which stat should you enhance to make your gear truly shine?

As you marvel at your piece’s maximum stats, it’s indeed a sight to behold, isn’t it? With only three enhancements available, you’re faced with a tough decision. But fear not, for I have a strategy to share.

Since you can’t stack speed endlessly – as much as we wish we could – the smart move is to prioritize it. Aim to reach the golden threshold of 17 speed, then allocate any remaining enhancements to Critical Chance. This balanced approach ensures your gear will pack a punch on almost any DPS character.

To recap, here's the optimal strategy

As you marvel at your piece’s maximum stats, it’s indeed a sight to behold, isn’t it? With only three enhancements available, you’re faced with a tough decision. But fear not, for I have a strategy to share.

For Part 1

Choose Speed set and helmet.

Choose Speed, alongside Attack%, Critical Damage%, and Critical Chance for the substats. Maximize speed to hit 17, then bolster Critical Chance with any remaining enhancements.

For Part 2

Choose Speed set and ring.

Choose Attack% as the main stat and speed,  Health%, Critical Damage%, and Critical Chance for the substats. Again, aim for 17 speed, then top up Critical Chance as needed.

And remember, while the speed set reigns supreme, end-game players can experiment with the torrent or penetration sets for added versatility.

If you’re eyeing a specific class beyond DPS – like openers, soul weavers, or tanks – the stats get a bit more nuanced. But fear not, as I’ve provided some quick tips for each class.

Openers:

I wouldn’t recommend it. Generally, you want more than 17 speed.

Tank & Soul Weaver :

Prioritize Health%, Defense%, and Effect Resistance for maximum survivability.

Debuffer :

Speed, Health%, Defense%, and Effectiveness are your go-to stats for disrupting enemy plans.

Bruiser :

Depending on the character, lean towards Health% or Defense%, complemented by Critical Chance and Critical Damage for some added punch.

Conclusion

In conclusion, stick to the strategies we’ve discussed, and you’ll emerge from the Forge Your Epic Gear event with two pieces that’ll stand the test of time. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or just starting out, these pieces will prove invaluable on your epic journey through Epic Seven!
