How to have a good start

In the initial stages of your Epic Seven journey, the primary objective revolves around progressing through the essential storyline and striving to conquer Wyvern 13. Wyvern stands out as the pivotal location for acquiring gear to equip your units.

Our emphasis on Wyvern surpasses other hunts, primarily due to the versatility of the Speed Set it offers. This set proves to be universally applicable, making it the optimal choice for early-game farming. By focusing on Wyvern, you can efficiently build multiple units, even while concentrating your efforts on a single location.

What adds to the appeal of Wyvern is its accessibility – it can be easily conquered with free units and gear. While striving towards conquering Wyvern, there are several strategic actions you can take, each of which I will delineate in the order of their unlock. Explore these avenues to enhance your early-game experience in Epic Seven.

New Player Check-In

How to have a good start : Check-in Event

Welcome, new hero! Time to have a good start with a bang thanks to the New Player Check-In. Brace yourself for fantastic rewards rolling in on Days 3, 5, 6, 7, 13, and 14. Day 3 hands you an Attack Set – tailor-made for your main damage-dealer, Free Spirit Tieria. Then, on Day 5, snag an HP Set to armor up your tank extraordinaire, Montmorancy. Equip those sets pronto for some serious early-game prowess.

Hold on, we’re not done yet! Days 6 and 13 bring you catalyst selector boxes to turbocharge your units’ skills and awakenings. Day 7 is like the jackpot day – you score a 5★ Hero and Artifact ticket. And the grand finale on Day 14? An item that can instantly boost a unit to 6 stars. Now that’s a game-changer, especially handy for giving Montmorancy a power boost. Happy adventuring!

Adventure

Time to embark on your Epic Seven adventure after that exciting Selective Summon! Shoot for the stars – literally! Aim for a stellar 3★ rating on every stage, and if those stars seem elusive due to tricky restrictions, call in your trusty 2★ hero. Those Skystones (SS) and Molagora rewards are worth it!

Keep the adventure rolling until you conquer Ep2 4-10. Thanks to the freebies from the New Player Check-In, you’ll breeze through the stages. When bosses throw a challenge your way, summon the power of your supportive friends.

Oh, and don’t forget to add your personal touch to your profile – your name, status, Rep Hero, a Lead supporter, and a snazzy profile card. Reach out to those level 70 accounts with friend requests, revisit stages that need a 3★ rating boost, and focus on farming that sweet EXP from the highest stage.

Now, gear up for the epic journey to Wyvern, your one-stop-shop for top-tier unit gear. As you venture forth, get ready to unlock thrilling new content – it’s all laid out in the sections below. Happy adventuring, hero!

Adventurer’s Path

How to have a good start : Adventurer’s Path

Welcome to the Adventurer’s Path – your roadmap to have a good start with epic quests and rewards! Picture a web of quests, unlocking one after the other as you conquer each path. The cool part? You decide the order to tackle them. Now, here’s the pro tip: gear upgrades hit their stride from Day 3 of the New Player Check-In. You can play the waiting game for top-notch gear or dive into cost-effective upgrades with lower-level gear – your call!

Once you own Ep1 10-10, brace yourself for the Achieving Adventurer path. It’s a bit different from the rest and involves Golem and Banshee hunts, adding some extra goodies to your loot bag. While not the core questline, these hunts are a cakewalk with your existing squad. Dive into the dedicated hunt sections in the Mid Game guide for all the juicy details.

Quick notes: That Double Rune scroll you snag after a Specialty Change? It auto-activates, but hang tight for a Double Rune buff event to get the most out of it. Same goes for experience scrolls – timing is everything. And here’s a fun twist: you can cherry-pick rewards along the path without hitting the “Claim Reward” button. Energy rewards are like your savings – stash them for a buff event if you fancy it. Ready to weave through the Adventurer’s Path? Let the questing begin!

Connections

Unlocking after Ep1 1-3 completion, the “Connections” feature opens doors to acquiring units through mission fulfillment at no cost. Each unit in Connections comes with prerequisites that must be satisfied before embarking on their missions. Here, I’ll spotlight the Connections that bear notable significance.

Meet your newest ally, Free Spirit Tieria, unlocked after conquering Ep1 1-3. This powerhouse takes center stage as your go-to farmer, making the grind for upgrades a breeze. With the knack for swiftly clearing stages, she'll have you gathering materials in no time. From Day 3 of the New Player Check-In Event, deck her out with a shiny level 75 Attack set. Plus, Free Spirit Tieria has her very own path – "Beautiful Pursuer." It's not just about materials; it's a hands-on tutorial for leveling up your units. And the icing on the cake? The equipment set at the end is your ticket to conquering Wyvern. Get ready to unleash Free Spirit Tieria’s potential and elevate your game!

Say hello to your trusty companion, Montmorancy, affectionately known as Momo, after mastering Ep1 1-10. Momo's got the important gig of being your go-to tank for Wyvern and your primary healer for early and mid-game PvE challenges. But that's not all – once you conquer Ep1 10-10, she gears up for a Specialty Change. Watch her evolve into Angelic Montmorancy (AMomo) with upgraded skills and stats. Dive into the details of this transformation in the Specialty Change section. Once her connection is established, kick off Momo's leveling journey, and don't forget to deck her out with a stylish level 75 HP set from Day 5 of the New Player Check-In Event. Get ready to witness Montmorancy's transformation and empower your squad!

Meet Furious, your soon-to-be indispensable ally, as you conquer Ep2 3-10. Furious steps up as the key debuffer for your early Wyvern team, making him a must-have unless you've got a personal grudge against male characters. To fuel Furious's growth, embark on efficient Gnoll farming at Ep2 3-S4 and watch him become an essential asset in your lineup!

Meet Alexa, unlocked upon conquering Ep1 1-10. While not an immediate necessity, Alexa proves invaluable for your Wyvern team when alternative options are scarce. We'll delve into her role and significance in the Wyvern section later on, emphasizing her usefulness in specific scenarios.

Class :

Discover Lorina, attainable upon triumph in Ep1 6-2. Though not an immediate focus in the early game, unlocking Lorina's Specialty Change (SC) evolves her into Commander Lorina, making her an exceptional DPS choice for Raid, Abyss, and Fire Expedition. Enhance Lorina's abilities by efficiently farming Church of Ilryos Devotees at Unrecorded History 12, 13, or 22.

Class :
Ranger
Element :

Unlock Bomb Model Kanna (Kanna) upon completing Ep3 2-8. While Kanna is an option, it's worth noting that her upgrades over Mercedes in PvE are marginal. Considering Mercedes remains a better choice, investing in Bomb Model Kanna is not a crucial necessity. However, if you decide to pursue her, Kanna can offer some value for Azimanak and Earth Expedition. Efficiently gather Floating Machinery for her growth by farming at Ep3 6-2, offering 6 kills per 8 energy, or at Ep3 2-8 (Labyrinth stage), providing 9 kills per 10 energy.

Moonlight Blessing

How to have a good start : Moonlight Blessing

Ready to unlock the Moonlight Blessing? Just conquer Ep1 1-10 and you’re in! This cool feature hooks you up with a complimentary Moonlight 5★ unit, and guess what? You get to choose from six awesome options! Now, let me spill the beans—Specter Tenebria (STene) is the star of the show. She’s a total boss, rocking both PvE and PvP scenarios with her top-notch DPS skills. Dive into the dedicated tier list for the full scoop on Moonlight Blessing units. And if you’re curious about the Fallen Land Moonlight Blessing, flip to the “Moonlight Theater” section in the “Mid Game” segment.

Once you’ve aced all four missions, a final button pops up, signaling it’s time to summon your unit. Pro tip: Hold off on hitting that button until you really need to. This way, you can keep your options open and switch to a different Moonlight 5★ unit if you snag Specter Tenebria (STene). Oh, and don’t play the switcheroo game by initially picking another Moonlight 5★ and then trying to switch to STene later. Nope, you’ve got just one shot at that swap. No need to rush through the missions—these goals will naturally align with your epic gameplay journey. And about that Arena mission? Not a big deal, since STene isn’t the go-to for defensive setups. Happy summoning!

Arky’s 7 Day Growth Guide

Arky’s 7 Day Growth Guide - yellow

It’s up for grabs as soon as you kick off your Epic Seven adventure, and you’ve got a sweet 14 days to complete all the tasks and snag those awesome rewards. The first 7 days roll out a fresh batch of treats, but guess what? You can tackle those tasks even before they officially unlock. Plus, there’s a special version for our returning players, making sure everyone’s covered. And the best part? The tasks are pretty straightforward, so no need to stress.

For our returning heirs, the only potential tricky task might be scoring an A rank in the Hall of Trials. But fear not! If progress was a bit slow before, focus on beefing up your Wyvern team or those units you’re working on. Give them all you’ve got and aim for that A rank in the final days of the guide. And hey, if the boss is being a bit of a tough cookie or the modifiers aren’t playing nice, well, that’s just life throwing a curveball. Keep rocking it!

Adventure for New Heirs

Adventure for New Heirs

Guess what? Unlock ‘Adventure for New Heirs’ by smoothly sailing through Ep1 1-10. This web event is your personal reward bonanza as you make strides in the game. The missions? Piece of cake! They just naturally line up with your journey through Episode 1, Episode 2, and Unrecorded History. Quick tip: When you hit those final Episode 2 missions, don’t splurge on Epic Equipment – not worth it. Go for Breath of Orbis and catalysts instead. Want the deets on all the missions? Check the full list here for your convenience!

6★ Promotion Celebration Check-In Event

first 6 Promotion Celebration Check-In Event
second & third 6 Promotion Celebration Check-In Event

Guess what’s cooking when you hit that 6-star promotion milestone? The 6★ Promotion Celebration Check-In Events roll out the red carpet with cool rewards! On Day 3, snag a 15x Rare Catalyst Selector Chest – that’s 15 of the same catalyst in one go! Day 4? Boom, a 10x Epic Rune Selector Chest coming your way.

These events pop up when you promote a unit to 6 stars, and guess what? They’re not in a hurry to leave. They stick around in the web events section. No need to rush those promotions – take it easy. Once you’ve got that shiny 6-star unit, swing by the event tab every day for a fresh reward. Heads up, though – the reset time isn’t the usual server reset; it’s 3:00 UTC. The event page is your oyster until you’ve claimed all the goodies.

Grace of Growth

Get ready for a game-changer – the Grace of Growth system is here, unlocked after you conquer Ep1 10-10. With this feature, you can give your hero a temporary boost in levels, awakenings, and skill upgrades. Think of it like a hero power-up button! Start with upgrading S3, then S2, and finally, S1. The stronger the boost depends on specific conditions you’ll find in the table below. And guess what? This power-up lasts until you decide it’s time to part ways. But hey, keep in mind, once you break up with a hero, you’ll need to wait 3 days before you can move on to someone new. Don’t want to wait? No worries! For 5 Skystones, you can skip the waiting time – it’s like instant gratification.

Here’s the fine print: Your hero on the hero power-up plan can’t be your Arena Defense buddy, Guild War Defense maestro, World Boss warrior, or hold a spot in your profile supporter lineup. They’re on a time-out from those gigs.

Why is this cool? Well, imagine those Abyss stages where you need a one-shot wonder. Instead of investing tons of resources in a hero just for that floor, use the Grace of Growth. One and done! Hunt one-shots? No problem. Set up your hero for that specific hunt, one-shot it, and when you’re ready to move on, unregister them. This feature is gold for folks focused on farming one hunt at a time, saving you resources.

Oh, and here’s a bonus – you can use this system to test out heroes in Arena, Guild Wars, and Real-Time Arena (RTA). Just keep in mind they might miss a few skill enhancements in their S1. For supports with not-so-flashy S1 moves, you can leave them in the Grace of Growth spotlight permanently. How cool is that?
